AuthorThe World Aloha The Superior Leader Creates new Leaders, The Inferior Leader creates new followers. It is easy to have people follow your lead, it is much harder to have those followers become leaders on their own. The amount of possibilities creating new leaders brings is unlimited. Without leaders, most thing will never get done. If a leader cannot create a legacy of new leaders then new ideas and opportunities die. To be a superior leader, one must teach their followers the importance in being brave and willingness to take things in life head on. An inferior Leader is one who is not willing to pass the torch of responsibility to others, one who wants all the glory, one who; really isn't a leader at all. This person is really just the person in charge, but they are not a leader. One of the jobs of a leader is to inspire. One cannot inspire other if they are willing to teach and to allow other to grow. A Superior Leader is coach to his team, a captain sailing the ship, the teacher who inspires, the one who is open to new ideas, one who knows when to say yes and to say no. A Superior Leader knows that if they do not allow their team to grow, that their team will die; just as a flower must be watered or it will wilt and turn to dust. A Superior Leader knows that in order to continue the success of a team and team after, that the team members must become leaders in their own right so that the spirit and tradition of success will continue to burn like the fire that is continuously fed wood and gas. If you cannot inspire others you should not be a leader. If you cannot teach others, you cannot be a leader. If you are not open to discourse or debate, you should not be a leader. If you are not assertive and caring all at once, you should not be a leader. If you cannot communicate what needs to be done and how it needs to be done, you should not be a leader. If, most importantly, you cannot create new leader, you would most definitely not be leader. Get out of the leadership role if you cannot do any of these things, especially the last one. If you are like this and somehow become a leader, you are almost certain to fail your team and fail at the task set forth. The difference between an Inferior and a Superior leader is, do they create new leaders to handle the torch of success. Do not get things wrong however, failure does occur, this is not an absolute sign of failed leadership, however consistent failure that could have been prevented easily, is almost always the result of an inferior leader. To create new leaders, one must be willing to be an openmind, and an open-door. Be willing to answer question and explain why something is the way it is. How can you create a leader if do not teach one how to become a leader. All superior leaders understand this and if you want to be a superior leader, it is suggested that you heed this advice. Remember, The inferior leader creates followers, The Superior Leader creates Leaders.

Dear my everlasting love Isolda, I hath traveled far and wide on my conquest in King Lancaster's army. We have fought many great battles and taken a great amount of land. Though I am wary and beaten, my love for thee hath only gained in power. Every morrow and every night I continue to pray for the day I can hold thine hands once more. One of these days we will meet again my beloved Isolda, I promise thee. I shalt continue to write thee as we continue our conquest north. Till then, I will leave thou with this precious stone I captured from this enemy I defeated. Keep it in memory of me. Truly yours always, Umfrey. Dear Isolda, It hath been two months since I have written to thee. We have traveled far up north. Before long, we will have reached the top of the world. It is getting much colder now, green turns to white, dogs turn to wolves and the days are shorter and the nights are darker. We must have fought about 30 battles now. Many foes against our King Lancaster hath been slain by my hand for the glory of our King. Tonight something strange occurred however. Just about 30 minutes ago I was in my tent asleep. Then I wake to what seems to be screams of children coming from the woods. I leave the tent to investigate. Once I step out of my tent, the noise ceases. Confused, I make hast into the forest. About a few yards into the trees, I hear laughing, I look around to see where it was coming from. Once I did that the laughing increased in volume and seemed to amplify evenly around me. After thirty seconds or so, silence. I then see west of my position, in the distance between the trees, about a million pairs of shining eyes of a creature. I draw my sword and charged henceforth to attack whatever it was that I saw. Then the eyes disappeared as soon as I thought I was close enough for an attack. I looked around for about five minutes or so....Nothing. I returned to camp and no one was awake. Was I the only knight to see or hear what just occurred? Was it all in my head? At this point I started writing to you. I want to keep you up-to-date on all that is happening in our conquest and I thought this experience would be perfect to share with thee. Thou shalt be the only to know of this unless it occurs again. Till then, I love thee with all my soul and my prayers to the Lord. Sincerely, Umfrey. Dear Isolda, We are very close to our destination to conquer the top of the world. We haven't battled any armies since I last wrote thee. Though we have crossed many villages. The thing that stuck out to me and the other knights was that all the villages were empty. Not a soul liveth in the homes or the roads. No animals or man, alive or deceased. Spooky would be restraint of me to say. Yesterday, we came across a cave that seemed to have a fire or some light inside of it's inners. When we went in to explore what was in there, there was no light; complete darkness in fact. We each lit a torch from our supplies and went forth further into the cave. All seemed normal until about half a mile in. Now believe me when I say this. There were carving on the walls of the cave, I do not know of what the drawing were of on the cave. The drawing seemed to be of men, but not quite men. These "men" were wildly deformed, resembling a giant but much more misshapen. Next to the drawing of the deformed men were carvings of tiny angels and tiny women. The angels and the women seemed to be dancing with one another. As we walked further into the cave this continued for about a mile and then it changes. Carvings of water over hills and blasphemous quotes are on the cave walls. Then, no more drawings, just blank stone. This is until we reach the end of the cave where on the wall it is written, "Curseth be the name of Enoch and his kin and all who live after our times on this cursed planet. We shalt curse the Earth and curse man who live upon it after us, and if man is to find our domain, let him die by our sons hands." We left the cave wondering what that quote meant, "Our Son's hands" "Our domain". Who art they and who art their sons? My beloved one, please write back to me if thou knoweth anything about what it may mean, the carvings and the quote in the cave I mean. I must go now, we are estimated to be one month away from the top and we cannot waste another moment. Goodbye my love. Sincerely, Umfrey. Dear Isolda, We are about one mile away from the top of world. I am so exhilarated and woebegone. Excited because we are so close, forlorn because many of our brave knights hath departed this life. The dreary cold has allowed the grim reaper to steal souls from over half our army. Only ten of us remain in this bitter cold weather. O how i miss thee and our home in the black forest. We shalt make our return soon. We hath seen many strange things here near the top, colossal indents in the snow, almost like a reverse hill. Last night while asleep, I heard the crying again, but this time it was accompanied by the laughing we heard in the cave; expect, it seemed as though I were the only man to hear it. All the other knights were deep asleep even though it sounded as loud as a wolf howling, if that wolf was a thousand feet tall. Up here the snow is whiter than the clouds in the mornings sky, but at the same time, dark and misty. It is hard to describe. It is as though it should be the most beautiful thing on Earth, pure as a newborn and righteous as a king who fights with his men with the Lord by his side, but it has been corrupted by darkness and dreadfulness and is unredeemable because of how wicked it's deeds hath been. As I walked across the cursed snow the noise seemed to surround me once more. This time however the laughing lowered it's intensity while the crying became tumultuous. The snow melted and that revealed one of the most eerie sights to ever hath come across my eyes. It reveal miles down of ice, frozen inside were skeletons of men with wings, their hands were in the air, as though they reaching to the heavens, their mouths opened wide as if they were screaming when their string of life were cut. It was awful to see such things. A battle-hardened warrior like me was still in shock to see ten of thousands of these skeletons all doing the same thing, begging to live as they were destroyed. I made hast back to the camp and did not speak a word to the other men about this, for I didn't want to stop our conquest till the end goal; reaching the top of the world. I must finished this letter now. It's getting late and we have our final steps tomorrow morning. I will write to thee and let thou knoweth of what we find. Sincerely, Umfrey. Dear Umfrey, I have not heard from thee in three years. I am writing this letter to thee out of respect and have no intentions of sending it to thee. There is no way of sending this to thee. King Lancaster hath banned all letters from being sent 10 miles near the top of the world. Why, I do not know of. About 6 months after I received your final letter, the king ordered all conquest of the northest most point to cease and that we do not try to reach it there on our own. Me, my family and thine family assumed thou art deceased, for it has been what seems like ages since thou hath last written to me. After I am done writing this letter I will bury it in thine tomb as it will represent thine body and thine soul since we hath never found thine body. I want thee to knoweth that, I shalt never marry for my heart belongs to thee. I will grow old remembering the memories we shared when we were together. I shalt always hold thy memory with me and will never forget thine warm embrace. Please take care for all eternity. Signed, Isolda. Dear Isolda,
Our sons are very please with their nosh. Praise be to Samuel for bringing our son's their feast. Their feast being half of your beloveth Umfrey. Though I am dead and trapped in the adobe of the damned, I still take pleasure in knowing his and his fellow knights suffering. It takes a lot of men to feed our colossal offspring, they hath quite the appetite. I laugh at their suffering and all those who came after my life's suffering and eventual death and casting into the abyss of no return. Do not worry to much, thou shalt join him...and me soon enough. My sons are arriving soon. For all of eternity I shalt be by thine and thine loved one's side, laughing at thine pain and suffering. See thee soon. Signed, Samyaza. |
