Introduction
When times are tough, dark and dangerous, one must answer the call, lest all be lost. In times of struggle, chaos and doom, a hero can emerge from the shadows without prediction and vanquish the evil set before him; no matter the cost. This hero can be scared indeed, notwithstanding, a sense of bravery will fall upon him and his consternation hath been pulverized. What is this sense of bravery that cometh over the fear of the hero? Well, this sense hath been told in fables, epics and legends as old as the first stories known to man; such as The Epic of Gilgamesh, The Iliad & The Odyssey and Beowulf. The heroes in these epic tales all hath tis one sense that rises them above their fellow man, in order to quash the evil facing them and what they hold dearest too. Tis sense of bravery over fear is what we known in The World language (English) as Courage. In the Oxford dictionary, Courage is "the ability to do something dangerous, or to face pain or opposition, without showing fear".
Overcoming dismay
All of man hath fear(s) that they hold throughout their lives. Their fears may change or remain as age progresses; nonetheless all hath some fear lest they no longer be man or no longer have The Aloha (breathe of life). As a neonate or babe in arms, thou may feareth not being held by thy mother or father. As a juvenile, thou mayeth fear a monster in thy closet or under thy bed. As an adolescent, thou may fear failing in thy scholastic endeavors. As an adult, thou might fear losing thy job and/or not being able to protect nor provide for thy family. And as an elder, thou may fear death itself knocking on the door. What gets us through this fear? For some, ignoring the problems is what they chose; this only leads to more unpleasant challenges; but for the bold, the sense of courage overcomes their fear(s) and those men shalt surpass that/those obstacle(s) in life and become greater for it. While the coward may react to fear by hiding in the corner or coping with voluntary failure, the courageous one, the real man, the virtuous will overcome and smash the fear and the hindrance and become better for it. How canst thou become courageous? There may be not simple one-size-fits-all answer to this question. Alas there are some ways thou canst be courageous. One way, is to just bite the bullet and go all-in without hesitation; to just ignore the fear in thy heart and do what needs to be done. Another way, is to plan ahead, if thou can, and come up with a strategy to better prepare thyself for the trouble ahead. One more thing ye can do, is to have someone or others help thee in thy struggle and with teamwork, the troubling menace can be overcome. No matter what, do not be a coward who never faces thy enemies and is doomed to a life of mediocrity; be a lionheart and crush thine enemies and live a glorious life!
