Introduction
In The World, many of people are filled with boastfulness in themselves. They seem to be, and are often, the center of The World; according to themselves. They see themselves are better than others, whether through true merit or without. These people can go day to day with their chins held high and not even bat at those below them. Their chin is so high that they cannot even see what lurks below, ready to swipe them off the ground and have the pride fall in a grand display of truth. Ego in thyself makes thee more blind than those without eyes. Thou art blind to the truth, thou cannot see what is right in front of thee. It makes thee imprudent, and thou wilt run into things without thinking, for ye believe that thou art indestructible. O egotistical one, for when thou art eventually tripped, the pain is unbearable.
Humble Thyself
How to prevent this ultimate fall? Practice the virtue of Humility. Put others before thyself, be charitable, forgive wrongs done to ye, never practice revenge and do not be jealous of others. Being humble opens one's eyes to the truth surrounding them. If one is wrong about something, and they do not want to believe that they are wrong, then they will continue to be incorrect and the truth shalt not be revealed. Imagine if ye will, that there is a person who is set on "knowing" that Tyrannosaurus Rex had feathers. As of now, It is widely believed in Today's World, that Tyrannosaurus Rex did not have feathers. Now imagine this person is firm in his wrong belief that T Rex had feathers. Now say that person was able to bring back a T Rex through a DNA extraction process. Let's say now that the new T Rex does not have feathers and the Boastful person was proven wrong once and for all. Imagine how much shame this person would acquire. If they were humble and accepted that they were not always right, then the shame would never hath been. Being humble prevents one from shame. Be humble and the truth shalt be revealed.
