Introduction
Tradition, according to The Oxford Dictionary is "A belief, custom, or way of doing something that existed for a long time among a particular group of people; a set of these beliefs or customs religious/cultural, etc.". While this is a fantastic basic definition on what Tradition is, it cannot, like all definitions, explore the depths and nuances of this particular term. So, what is the essence of Tradition, why is there tradition? What is important about Tradition and who should keep to Tradition?
The World of Tradition

Around The World, there art many Traditions that are practiced and are spoken fondly of; The Traditions of The World are the Rock that keeps each Society, Community, Family, Religion, Organization, Nation, etc. grounded and holding to their ways. Around The World, it is Tradition to Pop Fireworks on January 1st every year to celebrate a New Year, In America, BBQ and Rock N Roll can be seen as a Tradition; in England, High Tea and The Monarchy is seen as a Tradition; in Italy, Masquerades and Roman Catholicism is seen as Tradition; In France, perhaps the Cafe' and revolutions is a Tradition; In Germany, Tanzverbot and Reinfeiern are Traditions; in China, Chinese New Year is a Tradition; in India, The Hola Mohalla Warriors and Chhau dance are Traditions; in Egypt, The Wedding Ring and Easter are Traditions, in Japan, KFC Christmas Eve and Bowing is Traditions and in Brazil, Samba and Festa Junina are Traditions. These examples are a minuscule sample of a ultra colossal amount of Traditions, not just practiced in the listed cultures but, practiced across The World. While these traditions differ extremely widely, all of them have one thing in common. These Traditions are used to bring peoples of similarity together and to hold the glue of the establishments that hold their particular Tradition. The Traditions come from a core identity of an establishment and holds that identity together as long as the tradition(s) are kept are at least attempted to be kept. 
The Value of Tradition
Tradition and Culture can be important to both the individual person and the community of peoples. Though no person should be held down by any specific culture or tradition, it is important to help sustain cultures and traditions for those who love being a part of a culture/tradition. It can help people find a sense of purpose and a guide for life.
