A Starburst Galaxy is a galaxy that is experiencing a massive rate of the formation of new stars. The Baby Boom Galaxy is in fact The World Record holder for Brightest Starburst Galaxy. That is the reason behind it's naming, The Baby Boom Galaxy, since it is literally booming baby stars!
