Introduction
Boomerang Nebula, also known as Bow Tie Nebula, Centaurus Bipolar Nebula, ESO 172-7, 2MASS J12444609-5431133,  and LEDA 3074547, is a Protoplanetary Nebula located in The Centaurus Constellation. Boomerang Nebula is located 5000 Light Years from Earth. Boomerang Nebula has a radius of 1 Light Years and a temperature of 1 Kelvin. Boomerang Nebula is believed to be evolving into a Planetary Nebula. In 1,500 years, around 1.5 of the mass of our Sun has been lost by the central star of the Boomerang Nebula in an ejection process known as a bipolar outflow. This star is a current, a red giant. Boomerang Nebula was discovered in 1980 by Astronomer Keith Taylor and Michael Scarrot.
