Canopus, also known as Suhayl, Suhel, Suhail, α Carinae, CPD−52°1941, FK5 245, GC 8302, HD 45348, HIP 30438, HR 2326 and SAO 234480, is a Blue Giant Star located inside The Carina Constellation. Canopus has a mass of 8 Solar Masses, a radius of 71 Solar Radiuses and a luminosity of 10,700 Solar Luminosities. Canopus has a surface gravity of 1.64 centimeter-gram-second system of units and a temperature of 7400 Kelvin. Canopus is 310 Light Years from The Sun.
