Introduction
The electron is a negatively subatomic particle, symbol e− or β− that is much smaller than a Proton and a Neutron. The Electron is the 3rd of 3 subatomic particles making up The Atom. The Electron was first theorized in 1838 by British Natural Philosopher Richard Laming and then discovered in 1897 by British Physicist Sir Joseph John Thomson.
