Introduction
Today, Man rules The World. Mankind Dominates every other species by far in terms of Power, Prestige, control and intelligence. The homosapien is The Top in Today's World. This was not always the case however. For, millions of years ago, The World was ruled by a different set of species. The World was ruled by Dinosaurs. Dinosaurs Eons ago, Dinosaurs dominated the Earth. The eras of the dinosaurs were The Jurassic Era, The Triassic Era, and Cretaceous. A list of some of The Dinosaurs are: - Tyrannosaurus Rex (T Rex), The King of The Dinosaurs - Triceratops - Diplodocus - Velociraptor - Spinosaurus - Stegosaurus - Brachiosaurus - Ankylosaurus - Megalosaurus - Mamenchisaurus The Asteroid The Dinosaurs were The Kings of The World for millions of years. None could stop them, except, a Big Rock. 66 Million Years ago, an Asteroid hit Earth and the impact made the Dinosaurs go extinct in a mass extinction event. If ye was not killed by the impact, the smug in the atmosphere would have. No Dinosaur was sparred from it's awesome impact on Earth. Today, we are believed to have discovered the crater where the asteroid, known as The Chicxulub impactor, striked Earth. Off The Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico North of Belize. The Chicxulub Crater is the official name of the impact zone and measures at 150 kilometers or 93 miles in diameters and has a depth of 20 kilometers or 12 miles! That's colossal! It is believe that the The Chicxulub impactor was believe to be 11 to 81 kilometers or 6.8 to 50.3 Miles in diameter! No wonder there was a mass extinction! Conclusion What the Mass Extinction of The Dinosaurs teaches us, is that we are not invincible and it only takes one big attack to destroy of all. We must remain vigilant, not paranoid, and expect the unexpected, the black swan. We must keep innovating a find a way to deal with a Chicxulub Impactor-like Asteroid in The future, less we go extinct ourselves in one veil swoop. If ye are not growing, ye are dying, and if we continue to adapt and improve, we can live on as a species, longer than The Dinosaurs.
