Introduction
Mayall's Object, also known as Arp 148, VV 032, MCG+07-23-019 and APG 148, is two colliding galaxies located inside The Ursa Major Constellation (Big Bear Constellation). Mayall's Object is located 450 Million Light Years from Earth. Mayall's Object is 12.85 Billion Years Old. The result of these two galaxies colliding is a ring shaped galaxy with a tail. 
Profile of Mayall's Object
Mayall's Object was discovered on March 13th, 1940, by American Astronomer Nicholas Ulrich Mayall using the Crossley Reflector at the Lick Observatory. At First, Mayall's Object was believed to be a galaxy that was reacting to an intergaltic medium, which later was changed to what is believed to be today.
