Introduction
Medusa Nebula, also known as Sharpless 2-274, PK 205+14 1 and Abell 21, is a Planetary Nebula located inside The Gemini Constellation. Medusa Nebula is located 1500 Light Years from Earth. Medusa Nebula was discovered in 1955 by American Astronomer George Ogden Abell at The University of California Los Angeles. It was originally thought to have been a Supernova Remnant until 1971 when Soviet Astronomer discovered that it was in fact, a Planetary Nebula.
