Introduction
Tarantula Nebula, also known as Doradas, Dor Nebula, Doradus Nebula and NGC 2070, is an Emission Nebula within a larger nebula, Large Magellanic Cloud. Tarantula Nebula is located 160,000 Light Years from Earth. Tarantula nebula is located inside The Dorado Constellation. Tarantula Nebula has a radius of 931 Light Years. Supernova 1987A is located on the borders of Tarantula Nebula. Tarantula Nebula was discovered around 1751 to 1753 by French Astronomer Nicolas-Louis de Lacaille at The Cape of Good Hope.
