Introduction
Telesto, also known as Saturn XIII, Tethys B and S/1980 S 13, is a moon that orbits Saturn. Telesto has a mass of 4,046,404,769,362,420 kilograms, a volume of 7986 kilometers cubed, a diameter of 15.41 miles, a mean radius of 12.4 kilometers and a gravity of 0.002 meters per second squared. Telesto has an orbital period of 1.887802 Earth Days or 45 Earth Hours.

Telesto was discovered on April 8th, 1980 by American Astronomer Bradford A. Smith, American Astronomer Harold James Reitsema, American Astronomer Stephen M. Larson and John W. Fountain. Telesto receives it's name from Telesto in The Classical World. Telesto was an Oceanid, a nymph of  the 3000 offspring of The Titans Oceanus and Tethys.
